Dear CCP,
We here the undersigned to hereby petition you to hire John Rourke to make Clear Skies III with proper support and tools. We ask this for the following reasons :
1. Many existing players have subscribed to Eve after watching Clear Skies I.
2. Many more will join after watching the newly released clear skies II.
3. The loyal players of Eve have responded overwhelmingly to the concept of the Clear Skies, ie a little mini TV series, and love and thank the work by all those who contributed.
4. WE WANT MORE!!!!!!!
5. If Mr Rourke had proper tools imagine the quality he could deliver.
6. All the new subscriptions from this will move than cover a generous salary for the man.
7. WE WANT MORE!!!!!!!
For those that know a bit about Star Trek history after the original series was canceled after three seasons it was loyal, vocal fans who through shear tenacity showed the studio bosses there was a demand for more. Their unity brought us Star Trek the Movie and then all the rest.
This I say to you all. Sign this petition. Through our voice, a united voice shall we wear down CCP, we shall march on their doors in droves. Our united cries of "Clear Skies III" shall ring asunder their ears. So loud will our cry be John Rourke shall once again do battle in glorious scenes.

To all those that asked if the OP, ie Me, asked if I had spoken to John Rourke if he wanted to work for CCP the answer is no. It has nothing to do with that. The point of this useless internet petition is to tell CCP that something like Clear Skies would be a massive hit.
For all those who posted about inconsistencies from story line to game content I donÆt know the reasons why John put it together the way he did. I am sure he will have posted his reasons somewhere but my thoughts are ôWho Caresö.
The point of this thread is simply to rally the community a bit to show CCP that a mini-series like this would be well accepted.
Take this thread for what it is. A bit of fun and another way to say thanks to the John RourkeÆs of the community for their efforts.

I think the point of bringing it in house is to get away from having to use someone else's engine.
